Hello Tarkanian Middle School families,

In an effort to keep you informed of important issues happening within our school community, I wanted to make you aware that on Tuesday, October 20, at 9:30 a.m. the Attendance Zone Advisory Commission (AZAC) will be meeting to discuss and possibly take action on the establishment of a new school attendance boundary. This new school boundary would be created to service the new middle school located in Mountain’s Edge. The scheduled opening of this school will take place in the 2021-22 school year. 

 

The creation of this new school boundary will have an effect on Tarkanian MS and Faiss MS. This is the first meeting where AZAC will discuss the creation of this new boundary. Families can follow the AZAC meetings and process at http://azac.ccsd.net/. 

 

Public comment may be submitted via email at ALVARBI@NV.CCSD.NET by 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 19, 2020. Please include your name and the corresponding agenda item number, if any, with any comments submitted. Written comments should contain no more than 300 words. Public comments received by the deadline will be posted on the Board's Meeting Website before the start of the meeting and noted for the record as each action item is heard by the Commission.
