Welcome Back Soon Sharks!
Hello Shark Families,
We are excited to welcome some of our students back to the campus in the next couple of weeks.
Based upon the surveys that were completed in November, the district has been working on a reopening plan. If you completed the survey and stated that you wanted your child to participate in the hybrid learning model, then they have been assigned to either Cohort A or B. More information will be sent to the families as to which Cohort your child has been assigned to. If you stated in the survey that you did not want your child to participate in the hybrid learning model, or you did not complete the survey, then your child has been assigned to Cohort C and will remain with online learning.
If you would like to be added to the waitlist to participate with the hybrid learning, you may call the office at 702-799-6801. However, please wait until Tuesday, March 2, to call the office.
On Monday, March 22, our Grade 6 students (Cohort A) will return to campus.
On Thursday, March 25, our Grade 6 students (Cohort B) will return to campus.
On Tuesday, April 6, our Grade 7 and 8 students (Cohort A) will return to campus.
On Thursday, April 8, our Grade 7 and 8 students (Cohort B) will return to campus.
More detailed information will be sent out about cohorts, times, busing, etc. over the days and weeks to come.
Thank you for your patience as we finalize our plan to safely return your child to campus.

School Zoning Update (Mountains Edge)
The Clark County School District's Board of School Trustees
understands attendance boundary changes can be difficult for
families and communities. To ensure their concerns are heard, the
Board established the Attendance Zone Advisory Commission
(AZAC). The members of AZAC are volunteers, parents, and
concerned citizens appointed by the Board of School Trustees and
the Superintendent of Schools to represent their individual districts.
AZAC members review attendance boundaries each year and
recommend changes to the Board of School Trustees.
Your input is a valuable part of this process. Due to the current
restrictions of public gatherings and for the safety of the community,
our members, and staff, the public input process will be adjusted this
year. We ask that parents, guardians, or community members review
the proposals in this flyer. Written public comments of no more than
300 words regarding this proposal may be submitted by email to
AZAC@nv.ccsd.net. Please include your name and school of
concern. All public comments on this item received before 3:00 PM,
January 15, 2021 will be forwarded to all AZAC members before they
vote on their final zoning recommendation at a virtual meeting on
January 19, 2021.
AZAC then formulates a final attendance boundary recommendation
which will be forwarded to the Board of School Trustees for their
approval. The meeting time to be announced. This recommendation
could be any variation of the proposals presented in this flyer,
including no change to the current boundary.
To monitor the zoning process, review all backup material or access
the virtual meetings please visit http:// azac.ccsd.net.
Welcome Back Sharks!
We hope you had a great winter break and a happy new year!
As of Sunday, Infinite Campus was giving errors and having issues loading. So some may have had an issue with seeing their class schedule within that system. However, your classes should be visible within Google Meet and Canvas.
So please check your Google Meet (teacher live session) by logging in to meet.google.com (with your CCSD account) and joining your classes at the appropriate times.
If a class is not visible, or your google meet is empty, please refer to canvas.ccsd.net (school work/homework website) and log in with your CCSD account. Then find the missing class and email the teacher with the subject line "Google Meet Missing". Within the email state the period and that your class is not visible. If you are not able to find this information you may email your counselor using the links at the top of the website.
If you need password resets please visit this link:
